fuzzy like bad reception
blurred by a certain distain
for you
and all your empty promises
retracted
by your so-called righteousness
but you can save your tears
save your time
thinking up perfect excuses
and painting me white lies
don't say you're sorry
that i will get over it easily
don't make it such a crying shame
it makes me sound petty
